Official Selection

The International Festival of Documentary Films HumanDOC has grown upon the basis of HumanDoc Foundation’s activity.

Our mission is to widen the society’s awareness of global topics and to encourage the economy, information and democratic development of the society. Our guiding idea is to expand the knowledge of the world around us, as only by knowing more we can take real actions.

We would like to invite all authors, producers and distributors to share your work with our audience and us.

We await documentary films that show problems of Global South widely and on many levels. We are specifically interested in all productions arising in years 2018-2019, but we do not stick tight to our rules.

Copyrights note

After having received information about qualification of the film to the contest, I undertake to send to the e-mail address r.michalec@humandoc.pl the following:
1. A screening film copy in a form of a hard drive with DCP (preferred option) or on DVD/Blue Ray in uncompressed QT format on a portable memory carrier without any subtitles other than Polish(!).
2. 3-5 images captured from the film in TIFF or JPG format (300 dpi) together with the captions, which include the title of the film in an electronic form.
3. A photo of the director.
4. Biography of the director (max 100 words) in an electronic form.
5. Promotional materials, posters, leaflets, etc. (optionally).

I hereby declare that I am entitled to submit the film for festivals. I am familiar with and I accept the Terms & Conditions of X International Documentary Film Festival #HumanDOC and I agree to the free screenings of the film at the HumanDOC Festival 2019 in Warsaw and during the screenings of the touring version of the festival in cinemas, studios, Film Discussion Clubs in Poland. I undertake not to withdraw the submitted film from the Festival and I agree to the use of the above-mentioned information and materials for promotional purposes by the Festival Organisers.
